who we are

nodoCSS is an experimental and generative platform for the arts, based in Caracas Venezuela.

Founded in 2015 by Maria Bilbao·Herrera and Diana Rangel, two Venezuelan artists/educators who recognize the need for a space to generate links among different art practices in Venezuela and to bring this approaches to a collective framework by offering open calls locally and internationally, both for teaching, studying, exhibit and criticism.

We believe in the possibility of broaden a plural debate around our approaches to art practices. Our starting point is to understand art as a way of thinking, which goes through disciplines to achieve understanding, creating subjectivities and new meanings.
