Carlos Nuñez, also known as Don KX, was born in Caracas, Venezuela, place where his passion for electronic music began. From early age he became involved in the movement of said city, today having a long trajectory. In the 90's, he started buying vinyl records from few stores that existed in the Venezuelan capital, collecting a good collection of house and techno that it preserves today. With an established name, he manages to create an alliance with several of the most prestigious production companies in the country such as Smirnoff Experience and High Events, who give you the opportunity to participate in large events sharing the booth with artists like Richie Hawtin, Magda, Marco Carola, M.A.N.D.Y, Behrouz, Mr. C, Francis Harris, Art Department, Matthias Tanzmann, Nima Gorji, among others. Also achieving touches outside of Venezuela, in countries like Colombia, Germany, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Spain and the United States. It managed to position itself in Ecuador being invited for several years followed by one of the most acquaintances of the country, Pancho Piedra, to parties collaborating with invited artists like Christian Berger (Deaf Pillow), Ripperton, Mr. C, among others. In 2008 he moved to Barcelona, Spain in search of new sounds and unites Venezuelan artists belonging to the Galaktika Records label managing to connect with the local scene in Barcelona for two years, time in which he manages to play in clubs like Macarena and City Hall, participating as a special guest at various Off Sonar parties. In 2009 he returns to Venezuela where he is involved in new projects with new artists of the local and international scene, carrying out weekly events in the the most legendary club in the Venezuelan capital, Suka Bar. In 2015 a new adventure begins in Mexico City, where he meets to the Label Manager of the InfraDigrecords label, Light IDR, and starts work on new projects by establishing their work as A&R of the same, Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version) signing new artists for the label around the world like Alex Arnout & Pancho Piedra, Ivan Viña, Pablo Sánchez, Moreon & Baffa, Uriel Esquenazi, Maurice Aymard, James Teej, Hobo, Paulo Olarte and Jay Tripwire. He has also collaborated in remixes with Light IDR, Jonathan Jou and Oscar Fonseca (Nocturn).
