On the occasion of the celebration of our V nodoCCS Video Festival, and being consistent with the experimental and contemporary character of our platform, this year nodoCCS is reconfigured to continue proposing open meeting spaces around contemporary art and video. Since 2015 and until now, nodoCCS has played several roles, moving around places and countries, inhabiting spaces of both institutional and emerging character, collaborating with people and artists to carry out: our Festival, meetings, screenings, exhibitions and conversations.
nodoCCS is therefore presented as the collaborative project of two artists whose central axis is the nodoCCS Video Festival: from which are born the programming, curatorship, meetings, exchanges, exhibitions and collaborations proposed by our founders in the place where they are, in the cities where they are invited. To date nodoCCS has held its programs and its festival in Caracas (Venezuela), Lima (Peru), Bogota (Colombia), Miami (USA), Berlin (Germany), Madrid (Spain), Karazin (Ukraine), Mexico City and Athens (Greece). This year we are very happy to announce that our V Festival will take place in Barcelona (Spain) thanks to the alliance with Produkt Buró spaces. It will take place the weekend of December 14th and 15th in Poblenou.

This new edition 2019 presents 32 selected videos, the selection includes proposals from 24 countries and an installation of our call for special projects.

In addition to the selection of videos through the open call, this year the Miami New Media Festival, which has always supported nodoCCS, presented for the first time in Barcelona, a curated selection of videos from its "open call" Political Identity, with seven works by Jesús Hdez-Güero, Linda Phillips, Carlos Millán, Ricardo Arispe, Jesús Briceño, Eliseo Solís Mora and El Gaba - Guillermo Bermúdez.

This event has been held for 5 consecutive years, and has been achieved thanks to the support of several companies and people who contribute their knowledge and time to make this festival possible, this year we are especially grateful to Adriana Barrios founder of the Arts Connection Foundation, and the Miami New Media Festival, for their unconditional support and for believing in our proposal, the directors of Produkt Burô for always supporting us and all the artists who participate directly or indirectly in making this festival a reality. The nodoCCS philosophy is based on the open participation of people who are committed to the new artistic proposals of Venezuela and serves as a point of interconnection between parties that do not have to be related, working with non-linear structures.
